Now that the fall season is here and winter will be nearing we need to add extra moisture to our tresses and I do love my store bought deep conditioners (lazy days), however my homemade recipe is one that got me through my first year. Many have asked for the recipe of this conditioner so Finally here it is and perfected…for now! To rinse out I used Tresseme Naturals conditioner no shampoo.
1 Whole Banana
2tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (evoo)
2tsp Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (evco)
2tbs Raw Honey
** Blend well!!
This recipe makes a lot I had left over so long hair this is good for my length and shorter less (use whole banana 1/2 avocado and half of everything else)
Banana: rich in potassium carbohydrates and vitamins that help with manageability, shine, elasticity and hair growth.
Avocado: High in vitamins B and E which help strengthen the hair. High fat content aids with adding moisture to really dry hair. Avocados help promote NORMAL hair growth.
Mayonnaise: Packed with protein due to its high content of eggs helps to strengthen and rebuild the outer hair cuticle.
EVOO: One of the few oils that can penetrate the hair shaft. Packed with Vitamin A and E, can strengthen the hair shaft, moisturize and promote healthy hair growth.
EVCO: Aids in strengthening the hair and adding shine. Prevents split ends and breakage.
Raw Honey: Retains moisture and water…enough said haha!!!
